Funfest Mill Basin Bowl is known for being a less crowded option, providing a more relaxed atmosphere compared to some of the massive, high-volume centers in the region. This is a significant advantage for families with children or groups that prefer a quieter, more focused environment for their bowling outing. The atmosphere is traditional, emphasizing a classic alley experience, and many patrons appreciate the familiar, local feel of the space. While customer reviews indicate that some areas, particularly the kitchen, are described as being somewhat "outdated," the general consensus on the bowling itself is positive, with one patron noting the bowling alley was the "awesome" and their "favorite part" of the visit.
The venue is well-suited for celebrations, particularly kids' birthday parties, which is a key offering for families in the New York area. Providing a dedicated space and activity for children’s events makes it a valuable neighborhood resource. They offer basic amenities to ensure a comfortable visit, including readily available food options and a bar area. Customer service upon entry has been noted as "amazing," setting a positive initial tone for the visit. However, a significant drawback mentioned in customer feedback revolves around inconsistency in staff interactions, with some reporting "rude and overbearing" staff behavior, which tragically spoiled a family outing. It is important for potential visitors to note this mixed feedback on service quality, especially in the food stand area.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I really had fun here, it wasn't crowded, but I would like to see a more updated kitchen. It's outdated and not sure if it's up to standard. I felt as if I was being served by a Deli, as you're not able to take in your own food or drinks. The Bar was alright. And the Customer Service was amazing when you enter. The Bowling Ally was awesome, my favorite part.
November 05 · Salo OThe hole experience was horrible. I would never go back again. It was a complete waist of my money. The staff is very rude and overbearing. This pace made a fun family outing into the worst night ever. They spoiled my 3 yr olds 1st time bowling. We were constantly harassed by their staff and the food was not worth what they charge. Their customers service was horrible at the food stand.
November 08 · Kezia Williams -JonesA great night was had. Definitely felt it two days later when the adrenaline wore off. We paid $60 for an hour for three persons. Didn’t have to rent shoes as we all were wearing sneakers.
September 04 · shawn maileHad an awesome time at this bowling alley! The place is clean, well-maintained, and has a fun atmosphere. The lanes were in great condition, and the staff was super friendly and helpful. We didn’t have to wait long for a lane, and the whole check-in process was smooth. The food and drinks were surprisingly good too—definitely recommend the nachos and a pitcher of beer if you’re with a group. Whether you’re a serious bowler or just there for a casual night out, this place hits the mark. Will definitely be coming back soon! The video shows a skill issue
April 18 · Mari VbgThis place has been here for a while. Have visited a few times. The bowling is fun. They have bumpers for the younger bowlers, and kids will also have a great time in the arcade. The price seemed reasonable ($15 per hour before 5pm), but gets more expensive after 5pm.They also have food for sale (like chicken wings, French fries, etc). The only drawback is that the ambiance feels dated and a little lacking in energy.Other than that, it's a pretty good time.Wanted to give it 3 1/2 stars, but no such option. Not feeling it enough to give 4 stars. 👍
